Acton Zappa to play Festival Moo-Ah!

Very pleased to announce that Acton Zappa have been added to the line-up on the second day of the festival. We will be opening proceedings early on Saturday evening. Back in the Studio

We were back in the studio today learning Village of The Sun and because Jen (keys) couldn't make it and Ollie (trombone) was very late, the power trio were back together. We played a blinding version of Black Napkins with a nod to Bianca from John and Tomas. You can hear us on the new rehearsal tracks album (just the one track at present).

Acton Zappa's guitarist solo gig

On the first Sunday in February, the 5th, Mike Fox (Acton Zappa'a guitarist) will be playing a solo guitar gig at Ealing Guitar Society at St Matthew's Church Hall (behind the church), North Common Road W5 2QA. Doors open 7pm concert starts at 7.30pm and finished at 9pm. Entrance is just £5.

Come along and hear a medley of Frank Zappa tunes.

Acton Zappa's drummer to play Festival Moo-Ah

John Parkinson, Acton Zappa's drummer, has been asked to help out Z.E.R.O. Zappa Early Renaissance Orchestra by sitting in place of their regular drummer, who is unable to play the gig, at Festival Moo-Ah in Corby on Saturday 1st April. Well done John we'll be rooting and tooting for ya.
